David was a very much loved cousin of my mother ( Joan Amis , nee Gillett ) and he lived with her parents ( Sam and Edie ) for some time when he was a child. I believe my mother used to tease him and very much thought of him as a younger brother. I remember her telling me that she once dressed him up as a baby and pushed him round the streets in a pram . I am not sure he was very happy with this ! As a family we spent many a happy occasion with David , Audrey and their children . David was always so friendly ,kind and caring - a real man of faith . We send our deepest sympathy to Audrey and the family at this time .
